Sieber Road GSM 2009, Barossa Valley, SA

Sieber Road Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2011 Barossa Valley Simple Palates Seriously

$19 from Cloudwine. Sieber Road is a small family business run out of the Western region of the Barossa Valley. Their wines are well-priced, and good discounts are available on dozen orders. This GSM (current vintage $200/dz) has settled down quite nicely. Deep purple crimson colour, nice ripe dark berry fruit on the nose with a warm touch of bush scrubs and dusty chocolate. A med+ to full-bodied wine, retains quite an opulent, rich blackcurrant flavours, splash of raspberry and blueberries too. The mature tannins means the wine doesn’t tire you out, great with lamb roast, baked potatoes and pumpkin. Drink now. 90.
