Mitchelton Blackwood Park Riesling 2012, Nagambie, VIC

Mitchelton Blackwood Park 2012 Riesling Nagambie VIC Simple Palates Seriously

$22 from winery website or $12/btl/doz from Dan Murphy’s. Clear, pale lemon yellow colour. Fresh, moderate intensity of ripe apple and lime aromas. Good amount of acidity, the fruit is more bland though. Simple apple flavours. Lacks the bitey acidity and palate grip, so this is a wine you’d have with a fat greasy sausage. You get what you pay. Drink now. 85.
