Doisy Daene Blanc Sec 2010, Barsac, Bordeaux

Doisy Daene Bordeaux Blanc Sec 2010 Sauternes France Simple Palates Seriously

$28 from Nick’s. Clear, pale lemon yellow colour. Youthful med+ nose, aromas of citrus florals, white peach flesh, cut grass. A med+ – full-bodied white blend of semillion and sauvignon blanc, plenty of fleshy acidity propping up flavours of white peach and citrus fruit. Clean and precise profile, slight oily nature, but a persistent rich finish. Very nice. Drink now. 91+/100.
