Casa Freschi Ragazzi Pinot Grigio 2011, Adelaide Hills

$25 from Cloudwine. Short maturation in old French oak barriques which adds a whole lot of character to this. Pale yellow colour, light floral notes of saltish salinity, lime and nashi pear. This is a delicious wine, rich fruit flavours zipping around your mouth with vibrant acidity. 12% alc. Lovely light-bodied wine with flavours of lime juice and Pakenham pear. Long finish with crushed chalk and slate textures. Great for the races! Drink now – 2015. 89/100.
