Pizzini Sangiovese Shiraz 2010, King Valley, VIC

Dark ruby colour, this wine has a medium- weighted nose of red plums and fresh raspberries with a hint of saltishness and ginger. Dry, medium-bodied wine, high acidity, soft tannins that provided a good structure overall. Flavours of plum, raspberry couli, cherry with a generous pinch of smoky Welsh sea salt. An easy drinking wine good paired with a charred King Island beef on salad and tomato chunks. Drink now – 2015. 88/100.
