Dal Zotto L’Immigrante Prosecco 2010, King Valley, Australia

This is the first wine of Dal Zotto’s reserve ‘Immigrante’ portfolio. Their NV Prosecco is an easy-drinking sparkling to enjoy in the coming summer months. This 2010 has hardly any colour and is merely a shade of yellow with fine streams of bubbles. A delicate nose of apple blossom, grapefruit, slightly chalky. Very fine mousse, wave of acidity sweeps across the mouth quickly. This reveals the lovely clean flavours of red Jazz apple and grapefruit.  Drink now. 89/100. A good effort that I’m enjoying with chorizo sausages with the Swans leading in the second quarter! Come on Swannies!!
