Trotanoy 1999, Pomerol, Bordeaux

Medium+ ruby colour with resolving shade of garnet. Clean, developed nose of blackcurrants, Asian salted plums, mulberry leaf and sweet Cuban tobacco leaf. Dry, full-bodied wine with smooth velvet texture, lowish acidity. The tannins have resolved nicely but this is still drinking well with rich flavours of dark berries and creamy cocoa. Sexy finish. Drink now – 2022. 94/100.
