A blend of Roussanne, Viognier and Chardonnay. Clear golden colour almost like a shade of sunflower oil. Ripe oily aromas of honeysuckle, orange rind, baked cinnamon and fresh camphor bark. This is a dry, full-bodied white wine with the weight of an anvil powered by ripe, racy acidity. High 15% alc but somehow this remains balanced while teetering on the edge. Flavours of unripe apricot, peach skin, lemon pith, hazelnut and a residual flavour of white grapefruit. Awesome with Thomas Keller’s fried chicken! Drink up now. 95/100.
