Moorooduc Estate McIntyre Vineyard Pinot Noir 2009, Mornington Peninsula

$35 from Prince Wine Store. Clear, medium dark crimson colour. Clean, youthful aromas of crushed red berries and dried cranberries, sprinkling of ground clove. A dry, med+ bodied wine with moderate acidity. This wine has a silky texture, buffered by a subtle load of grainy tannins which carry the prominant red currants and cherry flavours. Easy, long finish. 14% alc. Drink now – 2015. 89/100.
