Brewdog – wet dawg? Bitch pleazz!!

This is one of the most insane beers I have ever had. Period. A whacky, mind-bending, acid-tripping beer in the style of Willy-Wonka meets America McGee’s Alice in Wonderland (go google the latter kiddies). A barley ‘wine’ made from multiple peated malts including  Laphroig whisky malt, nelson sauvin hops with short bread and toffee thrown in for good measure. If that wasn’t enough, it was then aged for 8 months in Jura whisky casks.

UAD$19 from Prince Wine & Spirits, Essendon (UK – order online here), the Brewdog Three Flyods Bitch Please has a deep amber colour, 11.5% alc and tastes incredibly of an ashtray filled with rain water. You have to be quite out of your mind to drink this, mad to love it. Compliment or… ? You decide.

Highly recommended: Brewdog Paradox Jura Imperial Stout
