Happy Easter weekend everyone! Enjoy the break, and some nicely buttered up, warm, toasty hot cross buns. I’m not an advocate for cheap commercial chocolates so I’m not encouraging the purchase of supermarket chocolate bunnies.
As an alternative, these seasonal macarons from La Belle Miette (Hardware Lane) would make the perfect substitutes. The salted caramel chocolate easter egg macaron looks a treat, and is a wonderful treat to have with a nice hot cup of tea on this chilly weekend. Their hot cross bun macaron has a touch of rum in it for that extra touch of spice.
