Littorai Cerise Vineyard Pinot Noir 2009, Anderson Valley, CA, USA

Tasted this on the weekend at Prince Wine Store, and ended up buying it for the evening.

$85 – 100. Medium ruby colour with clean, youthful aromas of bright cherries and red berries. Quite expressive, but not overly complicated such that it becomes a distractor from your enjoyment. Dry, medium-bodied wine with rich berry fruit, high acidity and soft tannins. The finish still has a bit of rough edges, but this to me says it needs a bit more time in bottle. Nice. Drink 2015 – 2022. 92/100.
