Tahbilk Shiraz 2006, Nagambie Lakes, Central VIC

$20. Clear intense ruby colour, this wine has soft aromas of red berries, pomegranate juice, crushed dried herbs and white pepper. A dry, full-bodied wine with high acidity and 14% alc. An even waxy slate of tannins, there is a rich layer of red currants, cranberries and pomegrante flavours. A good wine for this price. Drink now – 2017. 90/100.
