Sabella Pinot Grigio 2011, McLaren Vale, SA

$20. Pale lemon hay colour, soft aromas of pear fruit, lemon rind and a smoky element like bbq’d fatty sausage. There is plenty of fruity acidity, flavours of pear, a squeeze of lemon and pinch of sea salt. A lean, straight-forward wine for the Sunday BBQ. I’d frankly pay $10-12 only. Drink now. 86/100.
