Our Short-Sighted Wine Industry – BoozeMonkey.

BoozeMonkey makes for a nice entertaining read. In this piece, a small rant about wineries self-stamping scores and poorly managed websites. But you know, in all fairness, winemakers, especially the smaller growers, do not have a degree in marketing or business. Given the tough market conditions, I think we have to cut them a break for wanting to give anything and everything a go to make a sale. The internet and social media just seems like an easy tool to use, pity there isn’t an instruction booklet to inform them of how to use it effectively. Lastly, the ‘China solution’.. I have always told you so…
