Longview Creek Pippin Pinot Noir 2008, Sunbury, VIC

$18 from Cloudwine. Medium, developing ruby colour. Nice bouquet of blackberries, black pepper, hint of nutmeg and pork bone marrow. Dry, medium-bodied wine, high acidity. The 14% alc is clearly felt, even more so on the finish. The fruit is tiring out, but still remains an appealing drink at present. Drink now. 87/100.
