Kaesler Old Vine Semillon 2008, Barossa Valley, SA

$13.50 from The Red Wine Shop. Clear, light lemon gold colour with the slightest hint of green. Generous youthful aromas of lime spritz, lemon peel, lime rind, and wet, fresh cut grass. Dry white wine with rich lime fruit and lemon and orange flavours. A whopping 14% alc, there is plenty of fresh lively acid, steely on the finish. Long citrus-y finish. Not for the long term. Drink now. 90/100.
